Enjoy a holiday in red squirrel country
One of the most delightful things about the cabin is that you can see red squirrels playing in the trees from time to time. This time of year is important for the squirrels because in the spring they produce their first kittens. They eat fungus, pine kernels and nuts. And here's some more information - red squirrels can swim - and they are either right or left handed. Most of the remaining red squirrels are in Scotland - there are, it is thought, around 120,000.
